The Project
NZ MechTech carried out the upgrade of the MPRE waste water filter at the Pines WWTP for Corde. The scope covered the full design, fabrication, and installation of the replacement filter system.
The Challenge
The site presented fixed tie-in connection points with no flexibility to relocate, and a tight site footprint that limited the working area throughout. The design had to work precisely within those constraints from the outset.
What We Did
We started with a thorough site measure before moving into 3D modelling to design the replacement filter to fit the existing connections and available space. From those design and fabrication drawings, we fabricated all required pipework in-house, then installed the completed assembly on site.
The Result
By completing the design and fabrication in-house, we delivered a fully coordinated, streamlined site install for the customer with no surprises on the day.
